Meet Ashley Tappenden

Ashley was the first member of Team TackleTek kindly nominated by Kevin Miles of www.anglerstoday.co.uk for whom young Ash has a regular feature writing articles. Ash has been fishing for over three years and has built up a wealth of knowledge on how to catch fish on a tight budget, something that is close to many young anglers hearts and will be sharing that knowledge through Team TackleTek.

Ash fishes a local lake called The Glade near his home in South London and also fishes for Team Greenwich who fish regularly at Woolwich Dockyard. He has built up a wide knowledge of watercraft and techniques, mainly through reading and experimenting and that most important of angling qualities - patience. We are very pleased to have Ash on our team as not many youth anglers have an opportunity to work with a company and to develop their skills and passion with any kind of support.
