 Ashley and His Angling Hero Matt Hayes At Greenwich Dockyard

Well as you know young Ashley is a fishing fanatic, he lives, breathes, eats and sleeps fishing and on Monday 1st October Ashley met his angling hero Matt Hayes. It is fair to say this was one of Ashley's finest days in his fishing career so far.

It all came about by Ash contacting his favourite fishing monthly Improve Your Coarse Fishing about a feature on fishing dockyards. Kev Green, editor of IYCF contacted Ash with a view to arranging a feature and agreed a date with the manager of the fishery which was 1st October and he would come down and bring Matt Hayes with him to run the feature and would Ash like to come down? Is the Pope a catholic? Ash was there with boots blacked (well muddied in his case).

It is fair to say that Kev and Matt ensured that Ash had a fantastic time and as usual Matt being the fishing genius that he is caught quite a few fish from this venue.
